My focus will be on making Blaine the best it can be for the people who live here. That means; clean parks, good roads and sidewalks, access to essential services and a safe community for us to live.

Affordable Housing

With the housing boom that Blaine is experiencing right now, it is imperative that we improve the availability of affordable housing. I believe that it should be a requirement in any larger development.  It is a necessity in a vibrant and diverse city.

Drayton Harbor

A recent study shows that the Salish Sea is in trouble. The human impact on this body of water has been incredible and we need to see what Blaine may be doing that is contributing to those problems. It's time to be proactive about the protection of our beautiful water and beaches.

It may not be the most fun thing to talk about, but Blaine is facing some pretty significant issues. From Sidewalks, Sewer Lines, and Streets, there is a lot of room for improvement. We need to ensure that any expansion of these systems is paid for by new developments, and connection fees. We need to fix the walking path in Semiahmoo. We need to repair sidewalks all throughout the City. And we need to ensure that the existing sewer infrastructure can handle the proposed housing expansions into East Blaine.

I am well aware that Blaine's amazing Public Works Department is already addressing some of these issues. I just believe in the importance of public input.

What do you think is the biggest issue in the city?
